Jurassic 5 Takes ‘Control’ of a Debut Situation

Jurassic 5, a leading light in Los Angeles’ alternative-rap movement, took advantage of its hometown fan base to land in the Southern California Top 10 with its debut full-length album. “Quality Control” registered at No. 43 nationally in a week marked by the arrival of four newcomers to the Top 10, and the departure of Santana’s “Supernatural” after an extended stay there.
