Singer-songwriters fill this weekend’s bill at Exile Books & Music, 14925 Magnolia Blvd., Sherman Oaks. Allison McLeod and Che Zuro are featured tonight, and Robin Pearl and Sue Willett on Saturday. Show time is 8 p.m., with a $5 cover both nights.
Exile’s open mike night has been moved to Wednesdays starting this week. The Wednesday Open Mike is for performers with original material only. Songwriters may perform three songs, and spoken word artists get 10 minutes on stage. Sign-ups at 7:30 p.m. No cover.
Richard Modiano will host the Poetry in Exile readings Thursday night. Sign-ups start at 7:30. The featured reader will be Rick Fagin. No cover. (818) 986-6409.
