The Westside Urban Forum will honor Los Angeles City Councilwoman Jackie Goldberg at its annual Westside Prize luncheon on June 15.
The association of business, government and community leaders from the Westside of Los Angeles selected Goldberg to receive its Westside Prize for her role in the revitalization of Hollywood, which is in her district.
“Hollywood is the quintessential example of the power of collaboration and persistence among community leaders,” Westside Urban Forum President James Favaro said. “The response has been a significant drop in crime; cleaner, safer streets; and more than $1.5 billion of new investment in Hollywood.”
The Westside Prize luncheon will be held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. Admission is $95 for nonmembers. For information call (310) 394-0253.
