Applications for the Laguna Niguel Youth Committee are available at City Hall, 27801 La Paz Road.
Council members last month unanimously approved creation of a board of nine local high school students. Committee members, who will serve one- to two-year terms from September to August, will launch and maintain a Web site for local teens and serve as liaisons to city commissions and boards. The Internet site will include job listings, counseling and suicide hotline numbers and information on recreation and sports programs.
Applicants must be Laguna Niguel residents and high school students. Information: (949) 362-4300.
