Rights Panel to Honor Teacher

The Orange County Human Relations Commission will honor Huntington Beach High School teacher Rose Molina for her human rights work at its 29th anniversary awards banquet March 26.
Molina has been a member of the Huntington Beach Human Relations Task Force since its inception three years ago. The committee has produced a number of events encouraging dialogue and understanding among city residents.
Currently Molina is working with the Education Outreach Committee to produce a citywide diversity talent show to be held at the Huntington Beach Pierside in April.
The awards banquet will take place at 5 p.m. at the Garden Grove Community Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. The event costs $12, including dinner and entertainment. Information: (714) 567-7470.
