Grant funds totaling $1.03 million were allocated to city projects at a City Council meeting recently.
The money, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, includes $231,109 for neighborhood improvement/code enforcement, $127,099 for residential rehabilitation and $133,975 for commercial rehabilitation.
Other funded programs include graffiti removal, medical transportation, gang prevention and the Buena Park Coordinating Council.
