Rec Center Party Planned for Youth

MOORPARK — Young people are invited to attend “Moorpark After Dark” on Friday at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center. The party runs from 7 to 10 p.m. and includes a disc jockey who’ll be cranking out dance tunes.
There will be an open game room, basketball tournament and a 25-foot rock-climbing wall. The event is open to students in grades six through nine only. School identification and registration with parent signature are required.
Admission is $4 per person and incudes pizza, drinks and a climbing-wall ticket.
The event is sponsored by the city’s community services department and the Boys & Girls Club.
