Young cancer patients from the Children’s Hospital of Orange County will paint a 6-foot-wide “Thank You” card today to everybody who will participate in this year’s 5K CHOC Walk fund-raiser. The CHOC Walk will be held Sunday.
Led by professional artist James Hayes, the children will decorate the card at 10 a.m. at Mimi’s Cafe, 17231 E. 17th St., Tustin. After the card-signing, the patients and their families will gather for a luncheon inside Mimi’s to share stories of their battles against cancer and about CHOC’s influence in their lives.
