The Friends of Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge will host a 28th anniversary celebration of the refuge from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Festivities include the unveiling of an artist’s vision of the Anaheim Bay region when only Native Americans inhabited it.
Artist Lee Mothes will sign poster reproductions of the watercolor work. The refuge is at the Naval Weapons Station, 800 Seal Beach Blvd. Information: (562) 598-1024.
