The Historical and Cultural Society’s monthly community meeting Oct. 26 will feature the seaside community’s connection to Hollywood during the silent film era. Film footage, including a clip of the Red Sea sequence from the 1926 version of the “Ten Commandments” filmed at Anaheim Landing, will be featured at the free event.
The meeting will be at the Mary Wilson Library, 801 Electric Ave., at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Information: (562) 683-1874.
