Workshops Offer Advice on Homework

The office of the Ventura County superintendent of schools will offer advice on helping special-education students with homework during two workshops.
The workshops, the first to be held tonight in Oak Park and the second Oct. 18 in Thousand Oaks, are free to parents of special-education students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
The Oak Park session is from 7 to 9 p.m. in the multimoroom at Red Oak Elementary School, 4857 Rockfield St.
rg The Thousand Oaks workshop will be offered at the offices of the Conejo Valley Unified School District, 1300 E. Janss Road, from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Advance registration is not required. For more information, call 383-1919.
