Buena 35, Oxnard 0--Freddy Keiaho rushed 20 times for 208 yards and four touchdowns at Oxnard.
“We wanted to be consistent and play at a high level,” Buena Coach Rick Scott said. “Our goal was to create a rhythm we can carry through the rest of the year.”
Buena (5-2) got started early when Garrett Oltz intercepted a pass from Tim Aglin. The Bulldogs drove 56 yards in nine plays, capping it with a five-yard run by Keiaho.
Keiaho got Buena rolling in the second half, scoring three touchdowns, on runs of five, four and five yards. His 71-yard run set up his final score.
Oxnard (2-5) had only 32 yards in the first half and finished with 120.
