North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake finished third in 1998, second in 1999, and has enough talent to finally win the title this year.
The Wolverines return four players, including senior Ina Kim, who finished second behind her sister, Hana, at last year’s section finals. Hana Kim played for Brentwood and is now attending Northwestern.
In August, Ina Kim finished second to Lisa Ferrero of Lodi in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Amateur championship at North Plains, Ore. Angela Won of Irvine University advanced to the semifinals before losing to Ferrero.
