L.A. Baptist 37, Mojave 18--The Knights overcame a 12-point deficit and a four-turnover first quarter at Mojave.
Steven Graham completed 14 of 24 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown for the Knights (2-0). Graham also scored on runs of two and one yard, and two conversion runs.
The Knights limited Mojave (0-1-1) to 44 yards in the second half.
L.A. Baptist scored 21 points in the second quarter and took the lead for good, 21-18, on Graham’s one-yard run with 31 seconds left in the first half.
Adam Weiss scored on a 46-yard run and finished with 68 yards in three carries.
