7 TONIGHT BELLFLOWER ST. JOHN BOSCO HIGH
This is the 10th anniversary of Los Alamitos’ last regular-season nonleague loss. And which team knocked off the Griffins that year? You guessed it--St. John Bosco. The Braves feature an option attack led by running back Jacob Mathews and are poised to give Los Alamitos its third stiff test in three weeks. The Griffins pulled out close games against Santa Margarita and Lawndale Leuzinger, both without standout running back Adam Nauta, who left the game against the Eagles in the fourth quarter with an ankle sprain. He is questionable for tonight’s game.
