A 48-year-old Burbank parolee has been arrested on suspicion of burglary for procuring the names, addresses and phone numbers of at least half a dozen Los Angeles Zoo docents and then breaking into their homes while they were away, Glendale police said Thursday.
Brian Simpson, suspected of committing at least half a dozen burglaries, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly committing crimes from early September until Tuesday, said Glendale Police Det. Danny Carver.
The victims, mostly women, were from all over Los Angeles County, including Glendale, Beverly Hills, Hermosa Beach and North Hollywood. Those numbers are likely to climb as more victims come forward, the detective said.
Carver said victims or others with information about the burglaries may call him at (818) 548-2098.
