Zenith National Posts Net Loss for Quarter, Year

Zenith National Insurance Corp. in Woodland Hills reported a net loss of $10.6 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with a net loss of $9.6 million for the same period the previous year. Revenue rose to $125.5 million over $105 million.
For the year, the company reported a net loss of $46.8 million, compared with a net loss of $54.1 million on revenue of $459.6 million, down from revenue of $492.1 million for the previous year.
Zenith National Insurance underwrites property, casualty and workers’ compensation insurance premiums.
