Palisades d. Sylmar 15-11, 15-5, 15-9--Jordan Payton-Fearnley had 11 kills and Gillie McGraw had nine for the top-seeded Dolphins (16-0) in a City Championship semifinal match at Palisades.
Defending champion Sylmar (13-3) opened the match with eight consecutive points on Martha Colocho’s serve, but Palisades answered with a 12-0 run.
Katrina Delaney and Sally Teague each had six kills for fourth-seeded Sylmar (13-3).
