A 225-year-old copy of the Declaration of Independence and other rare documents from the nation’s founding are on display through January at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
The exhibit, which runs through Jan. 20, also features the original 1783 Peace of Paris treaty that ended the fighting between Great Britain and the 13 colonies and Benjamin Franklin’s handwritten draft of the Articles of Confederation.
The documents come from the National Archives in Washington, D.C., and from private collections.
The library is at 40 Presidential Drive near Simi Valley. For more information, call (800) 410-8354.
