Deadline Extended for Festival Contest

Conejo Valley Days organizers have announced that the deadline to submit proposals for the event’s 2002 theme contest has been extended to Nov. 1.
“Most of us haven’t been in the mood to think much about carnivals and fairs during these past few weeks,” said Jerry Oberle, the event’s general chairman. “We thought we’d extend the theme contest so people will have a chance to enter a theme that embraces the spirit of our community and country.”
