Halloween carnivals--offering candy, games and costume parades for kids--are in abundance this year at local city parks.
Most of Wednesday’s events are free and run two to four hours.
Activities beginning at 3 p.m. are scheduled at De Anza Park, 3701 Lost Hills Road, Calabasas, (818) 880-6461, and Pearblossom Park, 33922 121st St. East, (661) 944-2988.
Activities will begin at 4 p.m. at Balboa Sports Complex, 17015 Burbank Blvd., Encino, (818) 756-9642; Granada Hills Recreation Center, 16730 Chatsworth St., (818) 363-3556; Jackie Robinson Park, 8773 E.
