Navy Seeks Public Comments

The Navy is inviting the public to a meeting Thursday to discuss the status of ongoing environmental cleanup operations at its sites in Port Hueneme and Point Mugu.
The Restoration Advisory Board’s meeting also will include a presentation on funding and projects planned this year at the two Navy bases. The board comprises community, regulatory and Navy members.
The meeting is scheduled from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Orvene Carpenter Community Center, 500 Park Ave., Port Hueneme.
