We Are No Longer All New Yorkers

Regarding the item on the New York Post’s Steve Serby (“Morning Briefing,” Jan. 9):

Getting a bit carried away is one thing.

To say “and your life is on the line,” when it refers to winning a football game, especially if you are from New York, shows an alarming lack of perspective.
