2 Poetry Readings to Be Held at College

Two poets will read their works this month and next at Oxnard College.
On March 20, John Oliver Simon will read from his new book “Cominante: A Narrow Road into the Far South,” along with translations of works by Latin American poets and the poems in their original Spanish.
Simon is a poet-teacher with California Poets in the Schools.
On April 10, Eloise Klein Healy will read from her recently released book “Passing” and from earlier volumes.
Healy has won the grand prize at the Los Angeles Poetry Festival Competition.
Both programs will take place at noon at the clock tower auditorium, adjacent to the parking lots on Bard Road.
