Fencing League Finale Today at Chaminade
The final tournament of the Southern California Scholastic Fencing League begins at 10 a.m. today at West Hills Chaminade High School.
Approximately 100 fencers from public and private high schools and middle schools throughout Southern California will compete in individual epee and sabre at the tournament, which is expected to conclude at 3 p.m.

Football Coach at Garden Grove Resigns
Kris Van Hook, who coached football at Garden Grove High the last five seasons, has resigned, the school announced.
Van Hook, 51, led the Argonauts to a 28-23-2 record, two Garden Grove League championships and three Southern Section playoff appearances. He will remain as a teacher at the school.
