Driver Shot to Death; His Car Then Injures 2

A Hyde Park man was fatally shot Monday and two motorists were injured when his car lurched forward into waiting traffic, authorities said.
Jerome Joseph, 22, died at the scene. The car ended up against a fence at Hyde Park Elementary School in the 3000 block of Hyde Park Boulevard after the 10 a.m. shooting.
An unidentified man and a woman, driving separate vehicles, were injured in the accident that followed the shooting.
The woman was treated at the scene and released. The man, who complained of pain, was taken to an area hospital.
