Re “U.N. Forum on Children Takes Up Abortion,” May 9: Untold thousands of children sold worldwide into prostitution every single year--and our administration wants these helpless slaves to “just say no”?
I’m outraged and heartbroken. Yet “see no evil, unless it’s an axis” Tommy Thompson, the U.S. secretary of Health and Human Services, can only quote pious platitudes to placate President Bush’s far-right, deep-pocketed friends.
