I was rather amused at the letter that stated that lawyers should be banned from serving in Congress (Nov. 25). Perhaps the person writing thinks that amateurs would be better at writing laws than someone who has studied law. Maybe we should also prohibit those with medical degrees from practicing medicine. By the way, I’m not a lawyer.
