Pedestrian Is Killed Just Steps From His Home

A pedestrian was killed early Monday when he was struck by a car as he crossed a street, police said.
The 45-year-old Aliso Viejo man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, died at the scene, just steps from his apartment near Aliso Creek Road and Enterprise, police said.
He was walking home shortly after midnight when he was hit by a pickup. The driver was not cited, pending an investigation, police said.
