Driver Dies in Crash Near Lake Arrowhead

A man was found dead in his vehicle after he apparently drove off a road near Lake Arrowhead and slammed into a tree, officials said Wednesday.
Richard N. Stube, 59, of Irvine was found inside his sport utility vehicle Tuesday by a 16-year-old boy walking home from school, California Highway Patrol Officer Edward Escalera said. Stube was wearing a seat belt. The boy spotted the vehicle off Arosa Drive in Crestline.
