Man Gets Death Penalty in Slayings at Restaurant

The mastermind behind the massacre of five employees at a New York fast-food restaurant was sentenced to death by injection, making him the sixth inmate on New York’s death row.
The jury that convicted John Taylor, 38, in November decided then that he should be executed. Taylor was convicted of pulling the trigger on two of the May 24, 2000, murders, along with a third count for committing multiple murders in a single criminal act.
