Lieberman to Announce Campaign ’04 Decision

Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman will announce his decision Monday concerning a White House bid, but many Democrats say he has told them he plans to run.
Lieberman, 60, said he chose his hometown of Stamford to announce his intentions for 2004 because “it’s the place where my dreams started.”
Lieberman’s announcement will be followed by one of his trademark visits to a local diner, an aide said.
