From Times Wire Reports
The government has approved a skin lotion for U.S. troops to apply immediately after a chemical attack to neutralize potentially deadly weapons.
A lotion-soaked sponge is packaged in a foil pouch that soldiers can rip open and wipe onto any exposed skin as soon as possible after exposure, the Food and Drug Administration said. The Pentagon said the product could be available for U.S. forces by the end of April.
The reactive skin decontamination lotion has been used for years by the Canadian military.
