None Hurt in Fire Set at DWP Headquarters

The Department of Water and Power headquarters in the Civic Center was evacuated Thursday afternoon when someone ignited a small pile of roofing debris atop the 15-story building, officials said.
Bob Collis, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said there were no injuries and damage was confined to the pile of roofing materials.
The blaze was intentionally set, fire officials said.
