Regarding “ ‘Mr. Botox’ Case Raises Some Brows,” Aug. 22:
How can we not sympathize with poor Irena Medavoy?
She willingly has herself injected with Botox for vanity reasons and then she feels so much discomfort that she is forced to miss the Oscars, a monthlong European jaunt capped off by a boat trip on the southern coast of France, and, oh my goodness, she couldn’t go to Aspen for the month of August.

So Irena Medavoy “missed the Vanity Fair Oscar party.”
Poor baby!
I am sure my patients who have recently lost their jobs (and health insurance) share in her pain.
