New Prime Minister Forms His Government

Egypt’s incoming Prime Minister Ahmed Nazief formed his government, selecting several officials close to President Hosni Mubarak’s son Gamal, who is considered a possible successor to his father.
Nazief, 52, has promised to focus on economic issues. The new Cabinet has 34 ministers, 20 of them held over from the previous government.
