I’d like to thank Susan Carpenter for the interesting article on the “New Folkies” (“Folk Sound Takes New Root,” July 11). It was quite educational. I’ve been waiting for some relief from the all the Britney rap pap.
I don’t agree with her view that the harp has ever been a novelty instrument. It is a difficult instrument to master.
