Videotape Purportedly Shows Hamas Fugitive

The militant group Hamas released a rare videotape of a man it said was a bomb maker who had eluded Israeli forces for more than a decade.
The man, identifying himself as Mohammed Deif, described Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip as a victory and vowed to continue attacks.
Israeli officials could not immediately be contacted.
There was no way to positively identify the figure as Deif because a shadow covered his face.
