From Times Wire Reports

The government gazette announced the replacement of Col. Miguel Rodriguez Torres, head of an agency that combines the roles of state spy service and security police.
The firing of Rodriguez appeared to be a consequence of the recent escape from intelligence headquarters of Jose Maria Corredor, a major Colombian drug trafficker sought by U.S. authorities.
