Judges as Targets

The first time I heard our leaders talk about “activist” judges that need to be stopped, I said to my wife that it’s probably just a matter of time until people go out killing judges (March 12). I’m not saying that the president and others are responsible for the killings. But their language, which belittles and disrespects the position of judgeship, definitely creates a dangerous climate.
