13-Year-Old Boy Dies in Go-Cart Accident

A 13-year-old boy died Sunday after his go-cart crashed into a parked van, police said.
Edward Estrada Jr. of Huntington Beach was pronounced dead about 11 p.m. at UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was being treated for chest injuries and internal bleeding, police said.
The boy was riding the motorized go-cart west on Wichita Street near Huntington Street about 2:20 p.m. when he struck the rear of the van, police said.
