Hedrick Has Chance for Third Medal

The United States’ Chad Hedrick is the world-record holder at this distance and has a shot at a third medal, in addition to his gold and bronze, but will be challenged by Dutch skaters Carl Verheijen and Sven Kramer.

Lasse Saetre of Norway is another contender, as is Enrico Fabris of Italy, who has emerged as a star of these Games with two gold medals and a bronze.
