Nine employees and associates of attorney Pierce O’Donnell have agreed to pay a combined $14,000 in fines to the city Ethics Commission after admitting being reimbursed by O’Donnell for contributions made in their names to the 2001 mayoral campaign of James K. Hahn.
The deals come two months after O’Donnell agreed to pay $147,000 in fines to the commission after admitting to 74 counts of violating city campaign laws.
The city limits how much individuals and groups can donate to candidates.
