Monterey boar hunt: Unnecessary

WAS it really necessary to list a boar hunt in Tours & Cruises [“Stalking the Wild Boar in Monterey,” Nov. 12]? I’m sure there are plenty of excursions to promote that don’t involve killing. Although a boar hunt may be legal, it is far from ethical. One that offers a “trophy pig” is just disgusting.
