Police identify woman who was killed by car

A 76-year-old woman who died after being hit by a car near her Santa Ana home was identified on Saturday.
Nga Thi Nguyen was walking in the 5700 block of West McFadden Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Friday when she was struck by a car, according to authorities.
The driver remained at the scene and spoke with investigators, Santa Ana Police Cmdr. Joe Kahapea said.
Nguyen was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
