Re “Let your money do the talking on Darfur,” Opinion, Feb. 5
As Mia Farrow says, Americans may be inadvertently funding the genocide in Darfur. This disturbing fact only becomes more troubling when a company such as Fidelity Investments is used for your payroll service, forcing you to chose between changing jobs and funding a horrific genocide.
What is even more unfortunate is that the janjaweed militia has been murdering people in Darfur for more than three years. An entire people are being killed and little help is being offered to them. It is going to take a lot more action than sending a letter to Fidelity to help save the people in Darfur.
