Making of film well documented

THIS was absolutely one of the best pieces on the making of a film [“Love in the Time of Cholera”] that I’ve read in years [“Crazy ‘Love,’ ” Jan. 28]. The quotes about relationships being like bandages were remarkable. [ “ ... some relationships are bandaged and re-bandaged for decades, until the bandage finally starts to unravel, revealing what was always hidden but unacknowledged.”] And the thoroughness of the article was exceptional.
Thanks to Reed Johnson for continuing to write responsibly and effectively and deeply. One note: Benjamin Bratt’s mother is Peruvian -- I worked with him on a pilot and he’s very proud of that.
