Re “Plan for homeless center draws heavy opposition,” Feb. 8
Don’t be fooled into believing that there’s any sort of local community consensus against the St. Joseph Center’s relocation to Venice. There are many of us here in Venice who believe that our community should be one of compassion and tolerance, not one of NIMBYism and fear.
My wife, young daughter and I live just four doors down from the intersection where the homeless services center is going in, and we wholeheartedly welcome it to our neighborhood.
