Court OKs suit against Grisham

Bestselling author John Grisham and a couple he knows must answer allegations that they deliberately caused a woman’s emotional problems.
The Virginia Supreme Court reinstated Katharine Almy’s lawsuit charging that Grisham and the couple wrongly accused her of sending them anonymous letters. The justices ruled 6 to 1 that Almy had stated allegations sufficient to hold a trial on her claim of intentional infliction of emotional distress by Grisham and Alan and Donna Swanson.
