Man faces arraignment in 2 women’s abductions

A Newport Beach man will be arraigned today on charges that he twice forced his girlfriend into the trunk of his car and threatened her life last month, and also kidnapped a second woman with the intention of robbing her.
If convicted, Manuel Ozuna Viveros, 30, could face up to life in prison. He was being held on $2 million bail at the Men’s Central Jail in Santa Ana.
